Implants are a very durable and long lasting solution for missing teeth with a success rate of over 97%.
Unlike other means of replacing missing teeth, Implants do not require healthy neighboring teeth to be drilled or removed.
Implants are permanently attached and secure. They are cared for just like natural teeth and enable you to eat whatever you like.
Implants help preserve bone in the area of the missing teeth and protect your facial structure. They prevent movement and drifting of teeth which can disrupt your bite.

Frequently Asked Questions
Dental professionals widely agree that implants can achieve the most natural-looking and long-lasting solution for missing or damaged teeth. Their durability, functionality, and realistic appearance has led to growing demand as patients look beyond traditional dentures and bridges to a more effective solution for tooth loss.
Implants can last many years if cared for properly. Many implants have been in place for more than 40 years.
Anyone healthy enough to undergo a tooth extraction is likely a suitable candidate for dental implants. However, there are certain conditions that may complicate or prohibit implant treatment. Patients with certain complications, such as chronic diseases, heavy smoking, or alcohol abuse, may not be candidates for implants. Your doctor will determine whether or not this treatment is right for you after a complete physical exam and evaluation of your medical history.
Although discomfort varies from person to person, most patients say there was much less discomfort than they thought it would be. You will be given an anesthetic during the surgical procedure so that you will feel little or no discomfort. When placing the implants, the doctor uses gentle techniques, and because the doctor is working in a clean environment, there is little chance for infection. If you follow all post-operative instructions and take the required antibiotics, there is minimal discomfort. All patients are given pain medications, but many don't use them.
Inadequate bone tissue may necessitate a surgical bone grafting procedure before implantation. Over time, bone in the area of missing teeth will naturally shrink, and a bone graft may be required to ensure stability for the implant. During your consultation, you will be advised whether a bone graft or a sinus lift procedure will be necessary in your case to ensure the stability of the implant.
